Veteran midfielder John 'Shoes' Moshoeu proved that age
was no obstacle in competitive football as he walked off with almost 
every award on offer at the annual Kaizer Chiefs Players Awards on Tuesday. 
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder was honoured as the Amakhosi Player of
the Season. He walked away with R75 000 and a slick 4X4 Nissan X-Trail.
 


That was just one of the many awards he collected on the night.
Earlier in the night he walked away with five Man of the Month awards, each with R5000 prize money.
He also collected the Golden Boot with an overall tally of 11 goals.
More glory beckons for Moshoeu at a much bigger stage in the upcoming PSL Players Awards scheduled for Thursday.
He is one of the four finalists along with teammate Tinashe Nengomasha.
